ESPAÑOLA, N.M. — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption at the Española Humane. Take a look at this week’s highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.
Bees is buzzin’ with love and praise in her foster home, and she’s ready to fly off to furever! Her foster family has been working on socializing this darling dog; her foster reports that she is sweet as honey, very quiet, and loves to chill in her crate with the door open. They say she is *always* wagging her tail—and not in a nervous way, but in a loose and genuinely happy way. Bees will need to be the Queen Bee, though, and should be an only dog. Checking in on the extroverts out there suffering through quarantine – need someone to talk to? Hershey is your guy! He always has something to say, he loves long chats, and he’s got a sense of humor too. You’ll never feel isolated again! Hershey is a former tomcat, and he arrived with a giant abscess on the right side of his head. It’s all healed up now and he’s ready to find his purrfect partner. Hershey would prefer a home without other male cats though – he wants to be your main man. “You don’t need anyone else but me to talk to,” he mews. Adoptions are by appointment only – submit an adoption application for Hershey on our website and our staff will reach out to schedule a time! https://www.espanolahumane.org/animals/cats/
