2nd Annual Bounce Back II: Regeneration Fest Is Sept. 7

Tewa Women United and Spañapalooza Crew are collaborating to host the 2nd annual Bounce Back II: Regeneration Fest. 12 – 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Valdez Park, 720 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park Road, Española, N.M.

This community event will focused on youth culture, skating, arts, and community. The day will start with tree planting and gardening in the Healing Foods Oasis section of the park. This will be followed with musical acts, including locals ADHD, Lindy Vision from Albuquerque, as well as a skateboard, BMX, and scooter demo with prizes for all participants. Pizza, water and local fruit will be served throughout the day for all those who attend the event
Local non-profits are invited to participate by providing youth-focused workshops and share information about their organizations.

The goal of this event is to celebrate young people and the gifts we all bring into our communities. The event will be a non-discriminatory event to ensure that our community and youth are safe by not creating stigma or shame for who we are as our full selves. This Drug & Alcohol Free event will be free for all community members.
