Three Members Of The Cleveland Storm Sign With NNMC

The weather has never been better at Northern New Mexico College’s basketball team. The Eagles have just signed 3 members of the Cleveland Storm in Rio Rancho NM. Marcus Hill( 6A Player of the Year), along with his brother Marquis Hill and 6'7" standout Tyrique Weaver all signed letters of intent with Northern New Mexico College in Espanola, NM.
Eagles Head Coach Ryan Cordova said, "These 3 kids can play, and all of them will make our program stronger, deeper, and much more dangerous. We were looking for big guys, meaning big post players, but we ended up with a
post, and two big guards. As a matter of fact the biggest guard in NM basketball, the 6A player of the year, Marcus Hill. They know what big games are like, and have come highly recommended by personal friends and coaches".
The Storm Trio will fit right
in to the up-tempo, ever-changing style that the Eagles like to play. They can run the floor, post up in the lane, and knock down open 3 pointer. The Eagles have continued to build their teams with New Mexico standouts every year, but Cordova thinks this may be his best recruiting year so far. Get to a safe place on high ground, because the Storm is coming to Northern New Mexico College!
