Pets Of The Week

Each week the Valley Daily Post features pets that are ready for adoption.
Take a look at KItty, Sandy and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.

Kitty
This sweet girl Kitty came from a pretty rough situation. She was one of many cats the family had living outside, and from the looks of it, she was probably bullied a bit by the others. She's very gentle, and has become quite outgoing and affectionate. She is about 2yrs old and is spayed. She loves being quietly petted and spoken too, she literally melts into you when held. She'll make such a loyal pet to a loving home, stop by and meet this sweet girl today!

Sandy
Sandy is a 3yr old lab/pit bull mix. She was left in EVHS parking lot. She is ready for lakes, camping trips, and hikes, she's ready to explore! She will be a great companion who is willing to give her a chance. Sandy loves other dogs but a meet and greet
is always recommended. If you need a companion for all your summer activity she'd be a great fit.

There is 1 unwanted animal for every 2 households in Española. The Española Valley Humane Society performs over 5,000 spay and neuter surgeries each year.  Please help end pet overpopulation by donating at evalleyshelter.org.
