Pets Of The Week
Week of August 19-25

Each week the Valley Daily Post features pets that are ready for adoption.

Take a look at this weeks highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection

Macy
Macy is affectionate and gets along well with other dogs. She's a beautiful girl with a sweet personality to match!  Macy loves to run and would appreciate a home with a large yard and a large fence to romp around in. Macy forever family can adopt her with no fee, as long as a 6 month supply of heartworm prevention is purchased for only $20 at the time of adoption.

Nation
This sweet little cat just loves people, he's very outgoing and social, and will do great in a home with kids. Nation currently has URI (a cold), and is being treated with antibiotics. He is in good shape and can go home with medication. It would be best if he were kept separate from other animals until the medication was completed.

Solve the problem!
Come on in and meet Macy, Nation and some of the other wonderful pets available for adoption.

There is 1 unwanted animal for every 2 households in Española. In 2012 the Española Valley Human Society performed 4,012 spay/neuters, and this year they will complete 5,000 spay/neuter surgeries.  Please help end pet overpopulation by donating at evalleyshelter.org.
