ATTENTION: National Weather Service Fire Weather Watch Update

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a new fire weather watch for much of northern New Mexico, including the north central mountains and the Espanola Valley.

A red flag warning is in effect from noon until 7p.m. today across much of northern New Mexico including the Espanola Valley.

ESPAÑOLA - In a surprise move at last night’s City Council meeting the Española City Council adopted a resolution calling on the State of New Mexico to relocate the State Capitol building to the Española area.

ATTENTION: National Weather Service Fire Weather Watch

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a fire weather watch for much of northern New Mexico, including the north central mountains and the Espanola Valley.

A fire weather watch is in effect for every afternoon between 3:32p.m Monday and 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2 for all areas in the northern part of the state with significantly low snowpack levels.
