House Education Committee Passes Teacher Raises

SANTA FE – On Wednesday, the second to last day of the 2018 legislative session, a bill to raise pay for New Mexico teachers passed the New Mexico State House Floor and now heads to teh Governor for her signature.

SB 119, sponsored by Sen. Mimi Stewart (D-Albuquerque), would increase minimum salaries for all teacher levels.
