U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich spent Thursday, July 2 taking a first-hand look at flood damage to the iconic Santa Clara Canyon as a result of heavy floods caused by disastrous Las Conchas Fire. KYBR 92.9 FM, aka “K-Bear,” the sister station of northern New Mexico mainstay, KDCE, was Country when Country wasn’t cool! The words from that old Country song by Barbara Mandrell describe KYBR 92.9 FM’s history as a radio station based in Espanola, New Mexico. Well, now they are heading back to Country!
