City Detectives Have Lead On Giant Gas Station Robbery

Española Chief of Police Raymond Romero told the valleydailypost.com that his detectives are pursuing some “leads on the robbery of the Giant gas station” across from Wal-Mart early Tues. morning and is fairly confident of an arrest soon.

However, anyone with information relating to the robbery is urged to call the City of Española at (505) 747-6100.

Romero said he has excellent detectives and is confident of a quick arrest based on reported leads on the getaway vehicle. 

Giant gas station in Española staffer, Andrew” (no last name provided) calls his superior manager for the details relating to the robbery in the early morning hours of Tues. Dec. 19. The valleydailypost.com was referred to a Giant gas station toll-free number.

Andrew, (no last name given) who staffs an afternoon shift at the Giant gas station indicated “something” happened at the business earlier in the day, however, referred the valleydailypost.com to the corporate office number listed on the front door of the local Giant gas station. The toll free number was not answered after 5 p.m.

Chief of Police Romero said details of the investigation are limited as the case is still under investigation but will keep the public posted.
