The Regional Coalition of LANL Communities (RCLC) met Friday in Taos where they heard from an auditor contracted to complete six years of back audits in order to bring the organization into compliance following past mismanagement issues.

New Mexico’s Unemployment Rate 4.9 Percent In July

New Mexico’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.9 percent in July 2019, unchanged from June 2019 and up from 4.8 percent in the previous year. The national unemployment rate in July was 3.7 percent, unchanged from June 2019 and down from 3.9 percent  in July 2018.

The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and Local Union 611 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) jointly sponsor the training programs that offer apprentices the opportunity to earn wages and benefits while they learn the skills needed to be successful in the electrical industry.
