2017 Student Pledge Against Gun Violence at EVHS

ESPAÑOLA - Join the students from Española Valley High School (EVHS), New Mexicans to Prevent Gun Violence (NMPGV) and Rezonate Art for the Student Pledge Against Gun Violence. This project is made possible by a generous grant from Lush Cosmetics.

On Monday, Nov. 20, the art students from Española Valley High School will unveil a gun violence prevention mural that they created at Española Valley High School. For the past five weekends, students from Española Valley High School designed and painted a 70-foot mural that addresses the effects gun violence is having on our state and country.

In addition to presenting their mural, the students will paint handprints on the wall to honor children we have lost to gun violence in New Mexico. Student Council members will read the Student Pledge Against Gun Violence and all students will have the opportunity to sign the Pledge.

Española Valley High School is located 1111 El Llano Rd, Española, NM 87532.
