13 Northern Student Athletes earn A.I.I. All-Academic Conference Recognition

Thirteen Northern New Mexico College student-athletes have been recognized by the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) for their academic achievements during the 2016-2017 academic year.

The student-athletes made the 2016-2017 A.I.I. Academic All-Conference team by maintaining a 3.2 GPA or better while studying 12 credit hours, in addition to excelling in athletics.

“It’s nice to see our student-athletes be rewarded for more than their athletic ability,” said Tony Gallegos, Head Coach of Women’s Basketball.
